Bitten by the travel bug at a young age, Katie loves exploring new places, immersing in cultural experiences, and diving into thrilling adventures. Her top destinations include Croatia for its delicious food and stunning national parks, Japan for its vibrant festivals and rich culture, and Bali for exciting activities like elephant riding and white-water rafting.

Dubrovnik, Croatia
Katie fell in love with Croatia's breathtaking mountains and pristine national parks. Despite the 5-hour flight from Bahrain, she always finds the journey well worth the adventure.
Hiroshima, Japan
Katie was deeply moved by Hiroshima’s rich culture, where the blend of tradition, resilience, and solemn history left a lasting impression on her travels.
Bali, Indonesia
Katie's travels took her to a tropical paradise, where she explored lush jungles, experienced unforgettable encounters with elephants, all set against a backdrop of vibrant culture and breathtaking scenery.
Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain

In her role as the Recreation Director at NSA Bahrain, Katie is responsible for the oversight of 9 divisions within MWR providing quality of life programs, activities, and events to service members and their families. Community Recreation takes pride in creating unique experiences, hosting over 60 events a year. In 2024, the team at NSA Bahrain is looking forward to our Night of Extraordinary Lights event, with new elements, to include a 25ft Christmas Tree, new decorations and light, "snow", and fun themed activities for all ages!
